Strange issues with Chrome since the April 2023 update

Google support insisted a factory reset on my device which has not fixed the issue

It works fine in incognito and also when chrome is reset and not signed in to my google but as soon as I sign into my account the issues begins.

• We tried the following:
• Clearing all chrome data and cache has no effect.
• Factory Reset has no effect.

Signing into Chrome on another android device and the issue follows me from device to device so seems account specific.
Use alternative browsers like EDGE, OPERA or FIREFOX to view websites correctly.
